Join our Home Assist and Volunteering Team
The Town of Gawler is seeking to employ a highly motivated individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Home Assist and Volunteer Programs. This role will work as part of a team that delivers approved home care services that support older residents to continue to live independently in accordance with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). It will also provide support to Council’s Volunteer Programs.
Key Responsibilities
- - To provide efficient and effective administrative support and assistance to the Home Assist and Volunteering programs.
- - To work as part of a team that delivers approved home care services that support eligible residents to continue to live independently, in accordance with the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
- - To provide professional, prompt, accurate, courteous and helpful service to all Home Assist clients, Home Assist contractors, Town of Gawler volunteers and key stakeholders.
- - To plan, prioritise and organise core responsibilities to meet funding, organisational and departmental targets and deadlines.
- About You
The successful candidate will have a high level of computer literacy, data entry experience, attention to detail and strong organisational skills. An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards is desirable. A satisfactory National Criminal History Check or National Police Clearance is essential.
