Psychology Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a psychologist to work in a leading interdisciplinary allied health clinic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based treatments and psychological interventions to clients across the lifespan, with a primary focus on the assessment and treatment of clinical eating disorders and broader eating, weight, and body image concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based treatments and psychological interventions to clients across the lifespan
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance skills and knowledge
Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote effective communication and coordination of care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care
Requirements:
Full unrestricted psychologist registration with AHPRA
Hold or willing to hold appropriate public and professional indemnity insurance
Satisfactory working with children (Blue Card) and police check
Passion or experience in the field of eating, weight, and body image concerns
Completed or willing to complete training in evidence-based treatment models for eating disorders such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Enhanced (CBT-e), Family Based Therapy for eating disorders (FBT), Adolescent Focussed Therapy (AFT) etc.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential record-keeping practices
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing supervision and professional development
Credentialed eating disorder clinician (CEDC) or on the path to becoming one
Member of the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED) and/or ANZAED
