What You'll Be Doing As a First Nations Business Trainee in ANZ's retail branch, you will: Deliver high-quality customer service across face-to-face, phone, and digital channels * Assist with transactions, resolve enquiries, and provide banking support within guidelines * Help customers with everyday banking, accounts, cards, and self-service tools * Understand customer needs and connect them with the right specialists * Accurately record interactions in ANZ systems and CRM platforms * Take part in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training What We're Looking For A strong customer service focus with solid computer skills * Good communication skills and a professional approach * Confidence working in a fast-paced retail banking environment * Ability to multitask and stay organised * Reliable, motivated, and a proactive team player * Identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander (essential) * Ability to pass a National Police Check (essential) * Typing speed of 40-60 WPM (desirable) What You'll Get in Return A full-time, paid traineeship with hands-on experience * Ongoing mentoring, support, and professional development * A pathway into long-term career opportunities within banking and finance * Access to ANZ's learning and development resources * A nationally recognised Certificate III in Business If you're looking to build a meaningful career in a supportive environment, this is a great place to start.
