**About the Role**
Reporting to the Head of People and Culture Business Partnering for Child, Youth and Families, you will play a key role in partnering with our New South Wales and Tasmania Child, Youth and Families teams to assess, understand, and respond to business demand for strategic and operational P&C; support aligned with LWB's strategic goals and culture.
You will play a pivotal role as a visible leader across the business to partner, develop a culture that encourages accountability and collaboration. You will be hands on in your approach with a deep technical knowledge of best practice HR business partnering, in an evolving and often tactical environment.
This is a permanent full-time position offering the flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether from home or one of our NSW-based offices. There will be occasions when office attendance is required, and occasional travel will be part of this role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and support the P&C; strategy
- Implement, model and support national P&C; service delivery standards
- Develop creative solutions to business challenges in line with relevant workforce strategy
- Facilitate organisational redesign activities from structure, process and culture perspectives including the use of effective change management techniques
- Provide skilled advice and coaching support to business leadership teams on a range of P&C; related issues
- Ensure a high level of quality in customer service, and provision of effective and productive delivery of P&C; services
**Skills & Experience**
- Degree level qualification in human resources or a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience and a willingness to enrol in further study.
- Significant experience in generalist human resources position / business partnering / similar role
- Demonstrated experience navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence
- The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, partners, unions and external organisations.
- Demonstrated written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material.
- Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability.
- Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
