Yumbah Aquaculture is a national leader in farming abalone, oysters, mussels and kingfish with farming operations throughout South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. As we scale, we're seeking an experienced General Manager – Supply Chain to own our end‐to‐end supply chain and lift performance across planning, logistics and operations.
About the Role
In this senior role you'll be the key connector between Sales and Operations, leading the S&OP cycle and ensuring demand, production and logistics stay tightly aligned. You'll drive efficiency, strengthen cold‐chain distribution, and lead a capable team across Logistics, Procurement & Inventory, and Integrated Planning.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and run the S&OP cycle and deliver one integrated plan.
* Optimise inventory for live, fresh and frozen products.
* Oversee procurement.
* Manage domestic & export logistics with strong cold‐chain performance.
* Drive cost efficiency, service improvement and risk management.
* Lead and develop teams across Logistics, Procurement & Inventory, and Integrated Planning.
Experience & Qualifications
* 10+ years' experience in senior supply chain roles- aquaculture or food ideal.
* Strong planning, logistics, procurement, and inventory management skills.
* Commercial, data driven and cost-focused mindset.
* Experience with cold-chain logistics and export requirements.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
