**About the company**
This is a leading Government agency who is seeking an experienced Social Media Advisor to oversee and lead social, digital, and written communications.
**Day to day activities**
- Manage website, social media channels and communication, including Facebook, Twitter, and other relevant platforms.
- Propose, lead and source innovative ideas and concepts for editorial and social media content and develop and maintain a strategic calendar of articles, posts, and events.
- Work as part of a team to develop, source and write communication articles, e-newsletters, activity proposals and other materials, that promote audience interaction, increases audience presence on digital assets and directs traffic to the Your Room website.
- Optimise content following search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC), as well as implementing paid social media campaigns.
- Engage in social media presence creation, monitor community engagement on new and emerging social media platforms, and actively grow networks by engaging with key influencers.
- Work with key stakeholders including the marketing and social media teams to coordinate communication activities.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing role with a specific focus on social media and content marketing
- Ability to write, research, proofread and edit for media, publications, websites, and social media
- High level of computer literacy
- Proven ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively as part of a busy team
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
