We are seeking a skilled Forklift licensed and preferable Loader ticketed concrete labourer to join our team
As a Forklift and Loader licensed concrete labourer, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently and safely handling materials and equipment within our concrete batching plant.
Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant.
* Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including storage areas and equipment.
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
* Operator bagging machine
* Assist with other duties as needed, including general Labour tasks and plant maintenance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating loaders and forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Valid certification to operate forklifts and loaders (if required by local regulations).
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to equipment operation.
* Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labour and operate equipment for extended periods.
* Flexibility to work overtime, as needed.Monday to Friday normal hours.
