Financial Analyst
A permanent opportunity has become available for a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join a values-led organisation based in South East Queensland. Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, review and analyse financial reports, forecasts and budget submissions.
* Monitor and interpret financial performance, providing insights to support effective planning and resource allocation.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reconciliations.
* Provide input into long-term financial planning, including capital expenditure and asset management.
* Support internal stakeholders with financial modelling, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis.
* Collaborate with operational teams to identify efficiency opportunities and enhance reporting accuracy.
Ideal Background:
* Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance or related field.
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Financial Analyst or Management Accountant position.
* Strong Excel skills with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models.
* High level of attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience working in a regulated or public-sector environment is beneficial but not essential.
