The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) is a leading paediatric hospital in Melbourne, offering a full range of paediatric and adolescent health services, including tertiary and quaternary care for the most critically ill and medically complex patients across Australia.
Paediatric Emergency Medicine Physician We are recruiting for fixed‑term full‑time and part‑time positions starting July 2026, with a duration of 6‑12 months.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership, supervision, and direct patient care in the Royal Children’s Hospital Emergency Department.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in paediatric emergency medicine.
Utilise and further develop your existing clinical and non‑clinical skills.
Be a valued member of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Specialist registration with AHPRA.
Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, having satisfied accredited training in paediatric emergency medicine.
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate leadership in a collaborative and respectful multidisciplinary team.
Additional Requirements
Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain one.
Valid Working with Children Check.
Compliance with RCH’s “Staff Immunisation – Prevention of Vaccine‑Preventable Diseases” procedure.
