Labourer/Technician – Great Team

What We Do
We are seeking a motivated and hands‐on Labourer/Technician to support field operations within the Cathodic Protection (CP) industry. In this role, you will assist with the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of corrosion control systems used to protect pipelines, tanks, and other critical infrastructure.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, is eager to learn specialised technical skills, and wants to build a long‐term career in a niche and growing engineering field. Full training and development opportunities are provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting CP technicians with site preparation, equipment setup, and material handling
* Assisting with installation of anodes, test points, cables, and grounding systems
* Performing basic measurements and data recording under supervision
* Conducting routine maintenance tasks on existing CP systems
* Ensuring safe work practices, adherence to procedures, and accurate documentation
What We're Looking For
* Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have equivalent working rights in Australia.
* Previous experience in cathodic protection, corrosion control, or pipeline industry is highly regarded (but not essential).
* Competent in the use of hand and basic power tools.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
* Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office highly regarded (but not essential).
* A valid driver's license (unrestricted Class C) and willingness to travel to various job sites.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
* White Card (or willing to obtain).
