$95,187 - $108,734 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Canberra - ACT The RoleManage Defence Legal's ministerial and media workload and provide support to Divisional subject matter experts.The Ministerial and Media Coordination Officer will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex issues.
The position coordinates Defence Legal's input to a range of internal business and Ministerial and Parliamentary tasking and workflow (including Ministerial submissions and correspondence, Question Time Briefs, Questions on Notice, media enquiries, cabinet taskings and other products tasked through the Parliamentary Document Management System).
The role also involves providing support to the Chief Counsel and Defence Legal Division to deliver administrative and executive support, assist managing Divisional business and corporate related activities and additional work as required.About our TeamThe position is part of a small team within the Office of the Chief Counsel and reports to the Executive Officer.As part of Defence Legal, you will have the opportunity to have direct exposure to the Senior Leadership and the breadth of Departmental services, programs, policy and regulation.
