The project will generate enough renewable energy to power over 700,000 households with almost 3 million tons of CO2 avoided, as well as provide significant economic activity across the Goondiwindi, Southern Downs and Toowoomba Regional Council areas. About the Role Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will be part of the blade replacement team who will ensure that the project work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal downtime to the assets. You will work on behalf of the client, overseeing and assisting the sub-contractors performing with work, ensuring site procedures and QA standards are met. Duties Actively participate in WHSE, toolbox and daily pre-start meetings Assist the contractors in the completion of the blade replacement program Responsible for electrical safety and assisting contracts in electrical works, as well as performing isolations Implementing and managing QA procedures Advising contractors on-site standards and best practice Working hands-on up tower assisting contractors in specialist tasks Assist in achieving targeted wind farm performance standards Requirements: Trade qualified A Grade electrician with GWO Previous experience working on wind farms within service or installation Experience with blade replacement, construction or main component exchange programs (preferable) Able to commit to a long-term contract in regional QLD Physically fit and able to climb towers and work at heights Benefits Competitive hourly rate super, LAFHA, flights, accommodation & 3-1 or 10-4 rotation 18 month contract Opportunity for an experienced electrical technician to expand their skills How to apply Please click on the "apply now" button and submit a resume.
