Kickstart your career in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) as part of SGS's Inspections team as a Junior Inspector. This is your chance to learn and develop skills towards Level 1 and Level 2 NDT techniques for upstream examinations, with a mix of in-house and external training to help you become a critical part of our team. We welcome applications from candidates located in Adelaide or Perth!
Responsibilities
* Gain knowledge of equipment manufacture, processing, and functional use according to industry standards
* Learn multiple NDT methods (EMI, MT, PT, UT, etc.)
* Prepare, clean, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment
* Assist with inspections and examinations of OCTG and associated drilling/production equipment
* Conduct and report NDT inspections in a timely manner
* Maintain a neat and safe work environment with positive housekeeping
* Participate in calibration, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Comply with ISO: and ISO/IEC: standards
Qualifications
* No prior NDT experience required — full training provided
* Driver's license preferred
* Hands-on, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
* Motivated to learn and grow in a technical, high-demand field
