About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Databases Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building fit-for-purpose data models using SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and related Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain ETL processes, data warehouse solutions, and BI assets.
* Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data quality, integrity, and lineage.
* Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and query enhancements.
* Undertake unit and system testing of all developments.
* Utilize Azure DevOps for deployment management and environment control.
* Maintain technical documentation, metadata repositories, and system records.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience in SQL development and data warehouse design. You should have expertise with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, SSIS, SSAS, and DAX/MDX. Strong understanding of ETL architecture, performance optimization, and QA testing is also essential.
In addition to your technical skills, you should have an analytical mindset with the ability to transform unstructured data into relational models. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams are also required. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
