With the launch of our brand-new, state-of-the-art hatchery facility in Somersby, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our founding maintenance and operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a modern facility while building a long-term career with a respected Australian industry leader.
About the Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across hatchery equipment and plant systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimise downtime
- Performing preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of automated systems
- Assisting with commissioning and upgrades of new equipment
- Working closely with the maintenance and operations team to ensure smooth daily production
- Maintaining compliance with all electrical, WHS, and company standards
Work Location: Somersby
Morning shift role (permanent, full-time)
Successful candidates will receive full onboarding and site induction
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Current Electrical Licence (NSW)
- Demonstrated experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (food or poultry industry experience highly regarded)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A proactive approach to safety and compliance
- Physically fit and able to complete manual tasks as required
