Job Overview
The Motor Accidents Insurance Board operates Tasmania's personal injury motor accident insurance scheme. It supports people recovering from or living with injuries resulting from motor accidents by providing benefits, rehabilitation, lifetime support, and common law rights.
The Chief Operating Officer provides high-level leadership and oversight of claims, administration, and corporate services, ensuring the needs of claimants are met and contributing to a sustainable compulsory third-party motor insurance scheme for Tasmanians.
This role leads the claims and administration operations of the business while driving the delivery of excellent customer service and guiding leadership team members and staff.
Key Responsibilities

A background in Insurance, Human Services, or aligned industries.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Insurance, Business, Health, Social Science/Policy, or other relevant disciplines, and/or extensive senior management qualifications and experience are required.
