The Opportunity

As our Coordinator Business Support you'll be responsible for coordinating the Emergency Relief and Support (ERS) Directorate's business support activities, including human resources, financial governance, oversight, and reporting, purchasing, knowledge management, and logistics. You'll provide leadership and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support the efficient delivery of business support services within the ERS Directorate.

Working within ERS you will be part of a dynamic and responsive team that is committed to nurturing a culture of support, leadership, and effective governance, and makes a positive difference to people and communities who've been impacted by emergencies.

This position is also responsible for;

* Providing leadership to the ERS Business Support team; including developing and embedding a culture of confidence, performance, and proactive collaboration across the ERS Directorate.
* Developing teamwork among staff that supports the delivery of quality outcomes that reflect organisational and community requirements.
* Actively contributing to the development of operational workplans.
* Working collaboratively as part of the Business Services team to plan workload consistent with the ERS Directorate Plan, Business Services Workplan and operational demands.
* Providing logistical support during emergencies and assists establishing the Disaster Relief Hotline as directed.
