Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Outdoor Education professional to join our team as an Instructor. The role will involve delivering high-quality outdoor education programs to students, maintaining equipment management systems, and facilitating various outdoor activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and challenging outdoor education programs to students
* Maintain effective equipment management systems to ensure the safe operation of programs
* Facilitate a range of outdoor activities tailored to the needs of students and corporate visitors
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement new program initiatives
* Contribute to the development of program policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A strong understanding of outdoor education principles and practices
* Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership (or equivalent)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a dynamic environment
* Physical ability to perform the demands of the role
* Australian work rights
* A valid Blue Card under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 (WWC Act) and valid Suitability Notice
