Health Safety Advisor
We are seeking a highly skilled Health Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our health and safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

About the Role:
The Senior Health Safety Advisor plays a vital role in maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site. This includes providing guidance and support to construction management teams, implementing health and safety plans, and communicating health and safety issues to relevant stakeholders.
* Develop and implement health and safety plans and subsidiary systems documentation.
* Provide advice and support to construction management teams to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
* Coordinate implementation of health and safety initiatives, including regular audits, inspections, and drills.
In this role, you will work closely with the area HSE team to ensure they are properly resourced to meet the obligations of the health and safety activity schedule. You will also assist in identifying training requirements and analysing health and safety data to inform business decisions.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum 5 years' experience working in a similar role in the construction industry. You will also need to possess strong problem-solving skills, interpretation and application of relevant health and safety legislation and standards, and the ability to build sound working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale construction projects, be able to interpret and apply relevant health and safety Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice, and possess strong coaching and mentoring skills.
