About Kernl
Kernl is an Australian software company building intuitive AI tools for aged and disability care providers so they can specialise in people, not admin. Our tools are designed to be used by both frontline workers and central team members, and are built with enterprise-grade security, meeting the needs of organisations that handle sensitive information.
The Kernl team has deep experience in delivering care and support having built disability tech services since the roll out of the NDIS over a decade ago. We are also family members and advocates of people with disability.

About the role
As an Implementation Strategist, you'll lead the first 90 days of a customer's journey with Kernl. Your job is to help organisations go from signing a contract to using Kernl confidently, achieving breakthrough innovations and fundamentally changing how they work and serve clients.
You'll design and run implementations, work closely with customer teams and help them change how work gets done. You'll also help Kernl improve how we implement at scale, by turning what works into repeatable approaches and playbooks.
This role combines hands-on delivery with thoughtful problem-solving. You'll need to be comfortable working closely with customers, managing projects and shaping how Kernl builds a repeatable implementation practice over time.
What you'll do
* Own the full 90-day implementation process, from proof of concept (POC) to live use
* Partner with Account Executives to maintain customer continuity and relationship development
* Plan and run implementations with customer teams, keeping work focused and on track
* Develop repeatable implementation frameworks and playbooks, while adapting to each customer's needs
* Support change inside customer organisations through training, rollout plans and clear communication
* Build strong product knowledge so you can guide setup decisions and explain value to different audiences
* Manage any technical implementations required with a customer's existing tech stack, liaising between the Kernl product team and the customer
* Run structured check-ins and 30/60/90-day reviews to track progress and outcomes
* Define and track success metrics such as time-to-value, adoption and customer satisfaction
* Measure rollout outcomes, including efficiency gains and cost savings where possible
* Document implementations clearly to support handover to Account Executives
* Share customer insights with the Product team to help guide future development
What we're looking for
* 5+ years in customer-facing roles such as implementation, solutions consulting, technical account management or customer success
* Strong project management skills and the ability to run multiple implementations at once
* A practical, systems-oriented mindset – you enjoy turning messy work into clear processes
* Comfort learning complex products and explaining them clearly to both frontline staff and senior leaders
* Experience supporting organisational change, training or adoption of new tools
* Confidence working in ambiguity and helping to create structure as you go
* A data-informed approach, with experience defining and tracking success metrics
Nice to have (but not required):
* Experience in aged care, disability care or the broader care economy
* Experience working with AI-enabled products
* Background in consulting, professional services, change management or learning and development
Practical details
* Salary: $120,000–$150,000 base, plus equity and benefits
* Location: fully remote. Our team is based in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. Being in or near one of these cities is preferred but not essential
* Visa sponsorship: not available at this time
* Deadline: reviewed on a rolling basis, no fixed deadline
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single requirement. Not all strong candidates will have every qualification. We urge you not to exclude yourself on this basis and to submit an application if you're motivated by our work. We believe AI will shape the future of care delivery, and that building it responsibly requires a wide range of perspectives. Diverse experiences and backgrounds are genuinely valued at Kernl.
