Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to lead our multidisciplinary team in providing specialist services to patients. The successful candidate will promote patient safety and quality of care, while also providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
About the Role
* This is a senior position that requires strong clinical expertise and leadership skills.
* The role involves working collaboratively with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and targets.
* The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply for the Head of Department position in the future.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide specialist obstetric and gynaecological services to patients.
2. Lead the multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety and quality of care.
3. Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
Requirements
* A valid working visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency.
* Current registration with the relevant medical board.
* Postgraduate qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology.
