The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Workshop Technician based at our Adelaide branch in Dry Creek to provide high service ensuring equipment is maintained and repaired within company policies and guidelines providing aftermarket support to the existing and new customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Machine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
* Demonstrate an appropriate level of technical understanding of the design & function of Komatsu equipment.
* Workmanship completed to a professional standard and in a timely manner.
* Liaise with the customer where appropriate and report on the customer interaction.
* Ensure unused parts are returned for credit in a prompt timely manner.
* Ensure that timesheets, service reports and relevant documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Ensure that all parts removed from machines under warranty are tagged and secured in the designated area.
* Ensure that company tools are used and maintained correctly.
* Adhere to the work hours laid down by the company.
* Work a reasonable amount of overtime.
* Be of neat and tidy appearance.
* Assist training apprentices.
Roster: Monday to Friday

Requirements:
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* High level of customer service.
* Commitment to safety.
* Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of earthmoving equipment and components.
* Active team member.
* Pride in workmanship.
* Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Basic computer knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Certified Tradesperson.
* Holds a current driver's license and rigid truck if required.
