Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Safety and Wellbeing team in minimising harm and enhancing wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading Health, Safety and Wellbeing professionals in high-paced customer-centric environments.
The role involves undertaking activities designed to enable leaders to improve safety and wellbeing performance through minimising harm, managing risk and improving wellbeing. This includes providing advice, guidance, assurance and leadership of harm prevention initiatives and risk management strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and implementation of safety and wellbeing policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
* Provide training and support to employees on safety and wellbeing best practices.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to safety and wellbeing.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience in leading Health, Safety and Wellbeing professionals.
* Extensive technical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of Risk Management, Public Safety risk, Occupational hygiene monitoring, Contractor Management requirements, Injury Management and Health and Safety regulatory and administrative requirements.
* Proven experience in the safety management of facilities maintenance and construction contractors.
* Operational experience in hospitality, entertainment, building services environment.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Extensive experience in the development and delivery of safety learning programmes.
