**Primary Care Practitioner Role**
As a Primary Care Practitioner, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient-centered care to the local community.
The role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of health conditions across all age groups, with a focus on continuity of care and preventative health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
* Promote preventative health strategies, screening, immunisations, and health education tailored to patient needs.
* Collaborate with allied health professionals, nursing staff, specialists, and external providers to ensure holistic patient care.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in accordance with RACGP and AHPRA standards.
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
Selection Criteria:
1. Essential:
o Unrestricted registration as a General Practitioner.
o Demonstrated experience in general practice, with strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
o Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
