We are looking for an experienced and values-led People and Culture Manager to lead the strategic direction and maturity of the P&C function across Y Canberra Region. You will partner with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and people leaders to shape people strategy, strengthen organisational capability, improve workforce planning, and support a proactive, compliant and future-focused P&C service model.

About You

* Proven experience in a senior HR, People and Culture or HR business partnering role.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, design and deliver people strategies that translate organisational priorities into practical, sustainable workforce solutions.
* Strong knowledge of Fair Work, workplace relations, award interpretation and employment compliance.
* Experience advising senior leaders on complex people, performance and organisational matters.
* Strong influencing, coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to use data, insights and evidence to support workforce and organisational decisions.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality, resilience and professional judgement.
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent senior professional experience.
* Current Working With Vulnerable People registration, or ability to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development and implementation of P&C strategy, frameworks and service model improvements.
* Partner with senior leaders to identify workforce priorities, risks, gaps and opportunities.
* Strengthen workforce planning, HR reporting and data-informed people decision-making.
* Lead organisational capability initiatives, including performance, leadership development and employee experience.
* Provide strategic advice on workplace relations, industrial relations, compliance and employment frameworks.
* Oversee complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance management processes.
* Drive continuous improvement of P&C policies, systems, processes and governance.
* Lead the P&C team and coordinate external HR, legal and specialist support where required.
