As a Program Finance Lead, you'll support the management and reporting of financial costs and benefits across the assigned program and is integral to the Enterprise Portfolio in the oversight and delivery of operational efficiencies.The role is required to provide day-to-day financial management, reporting, and analysis for the program, ensuring efficient and effective financial operations and controls throughout the program lifecycle.
The Program Finance Lead is responsible for creating, maintaining and enhancing relationships with key program stakeholders, ensuring that information is accurate, timely and relevant.
The role is also accountable for uplifting data and analytics capabilities to provide business insights and ensuring knowledge is shared and enhanced across the program.Day to day, you'll:Own the program reporting process: act as the expert, ensuring all reporting requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.Analyse and interpret data: delve into project financial data, identifying key trends and insights to inform decision-making.Craft compelling reports: translate complex data into clear, concise, and engaging reports that effectively communicate project progress and performance to a variety of stakeholders including program leadership and senior and executive management.Collaborate with project teams: work closely with project leads and subject matter experts to gather information, understand their needs, and ensure reporting aligns with their objectives.Develop and maintain reporting templates: ensure consistency and efficiency by creating and maintaining standardised reporting templates.Proactively identify and address reporting challenges: be a problem-solver, anticipating potential issues and implementing solutions to ensure smooth and accurate reporting.Maintain and update financial models: maintain and update various financial models monthly that are directly linked to the program's financial reporting.This role is a 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity.About youIt goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills.
We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.
It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too: Professional accounting qualifications such as Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA ANZ), Certified Practising Accounts Australia (CPA) or equivalent.Proven experience in project reporting or a similar analytical role.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and reporting requirements.Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, and influence at senior/executive management level.A collaborative and proactive approach and demonstrated adaptability to tackle different challenges and tasks daily with various stakeholders.Proven experience in the preparation and presentation of financial and non-financial reports for senior/executive stakeholders.About usOur 2.4 million members trust us to take care of over $330 billion in retirement savings.
