A well established organisation in the construction / projects space is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to support project delivery and day‑to‑day operations through effective procurement and supplier coordination.
Your new role
This is a hands‑on role responsible for end‑to‑end purchasing across projects, stock and fleet maintenance, working closely with Project, Operations, Warehouse and Finance teams to ensure cost control, timely supply and accurate records.
Key responsibilities:
* End‑to‑end purchasing, including raising purchase orders and managing supplier relationships
* Coordinating project and operational purchasing to meet timelines and budgets
* Managing stock purchasing, replenishment, stocktakes and inventory accuracy
* Supporting invoice matching, cost coding and purchasing controls
* Maintaining supplier records, price lists and identifying cost saving opportunities
* Coordinating fleet servicing, repairs and maintenance records
* Ensuring compliance with internal controls, approvals and WHS requirements
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within construction, manufacturing or trade environments
* Strong ERP experience (e.g. JOBPAC, MYOB or similar)
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and commercial judgement
* Confident working across multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
* Proactive, solutions focused and customer oriented
* Current driver’s licence (required)
