The Opportunity
As Concierge you will act as a trusted liaison for residents in our Riverview Assisted Living apartments, connecting them to holistic care and services to ensure our residents live the life they choose. This part time position has a fortnightly roster working 9:00am - 6:00pm (8.5 hours) on Thursday & Friday in Week A and Friday, Saturday & Sunday in Week B, totaling 42 hours per fortnight.
Responsibilities:
* Explaining and promoting a range of services, organising additional service agreements and arrange bookings and appointments for residents with various service providers
* Ensuring information provided to residents and family members is timely and easy to understand
* Organising a range of leisure and lifestyle activities & supporting residents to participate
* Working closely with Hotel Services staff to ensure the effective delivery of housekeeping, cleaning and catering services in the complex
* Monitoring resident needs, observing any changes and escalating to the Case Manager
* Reporting resident concerns to the relevant team and advocating for residents
* Fostering and building relationships with consumers and family members
Providing exceptional & efficient customer service
About You
Essential Criteria:
* Certificate III In Individual Support Work or equivalent
* Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
* Experience with and a genuine desire to work with older people in a service focused model
* Ability to work in a person centred approach, with integrity, compassion and kindness
* Ability to work independently and unsupervised
* Ability to proactively solve problems, manage complaints and use initiative
* Flexibility to work around the needs of the residents
Desirable Criteria:
* Certificate IV Leisure and Health
Responsible Service of Alcohol competency
