The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Corporate, Commercial & Litigation Lawyer ideally with a minimum of 5 years' post‑admission experience.
The position is full time or part time (0.80 FTE) and available for immediate start or in early January 2026.
Salary will be based on experience and negotiable with the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
The candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal services and advice to our diverse range of clients, across the following types of matters:
Corporate & Commercial
* corporate business structures (partnerships, trusts, incorporations)
* unitholder and shareholder agreements
* sale and purchase of business
* contract reviews and negotiation
* Building & construction disputes
* Commercial, business & partnership disputes
* Property related and retail tenancy disputes
* Breach of agreements
* Recovery of debts
A sound knowledge of the processes, procedures and Rules across the various Courts and Tribunals, exceptional drafting, negotiating and advocacy skills are also required.
* Minimum 5 years' post‑admission experience in one of the above practice areas
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
* Available to work onsite in our Emerald and Pakenham offices
