What you'll be doing
As our Speech Pathologist you will be required to provide high-quality speech pathology services to children and families, focusing on early identification, assessment and management of communication and feeding needs within a primary health care framework.
Daily Responsibilities include:
* Assessing and managing speech, language, fluency, voice and feeding disorders.
* Delivering therapy through individual, group and parent-focused models.
* Developing family-centred care plans and collaborating on treatment goals.
* Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and preparing reports.
* Contributing to health promotion, education, quality improvement and research activities

Essential Criteria
* Qualification: Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligible for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated experience in providing paediatric Speech Pathology services.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with families from different psychosocial, socio economic or CALD backgrounds.
* Understanding of Primary Health Care principles.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team within a community setting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of evidence based practice and commitment to professional development.
* Highly developed and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
* Demonstrated excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of computer based applications and hold a Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
