As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and maintenance at a college campus.
This role involves managing contractors, maintaining building standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and operational school environment year-round.
Key responsibilities include supervising and coordinating daily site operations, including cleaning, grounds keeping, and general maintenance, as well as managing contractor access and ensuring work is completed safely and to standard.
You will also conduct routine inspections, stocktakes, and audits to ensure compliance with service agreements, monitor and report on equipment use, maintenance issues, and site safety, and assist with closing responsibilities and out-of-hours events on a rotating roster.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role, as you will be working closely with school staff, service providers, and management to maintain strong relationships and uphold OH&S protocols.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in site, facility, or contractor management, as well as a background in maintenance, cleaning, or building operations.
They will also possess strong organisational and time management skills, be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks, and have a working knowledge of health and safety practices.
Requirements for the role include a current SA Driver's Licence, SA Police Clearance and Working with Children Check, and willingness to complete training modules and a pre-employment medical assessment.
