Learning Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Galiwin'ku. In this role, you will provide flexible learning support for adult individuals and groups, focusing on language and digital literacy, as well as implementing Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) programs to enhance student success in their chosen VET and Higher Education pathways.
About This Role
* Deliver high-quality learning support to meet the diverse needs and goals of students, ensuring alignment with external training expectations.
* Implement qualifications and short courses within scope, utilizing your skills and expertise.
* Collaborate with our RTO to ensure consistent delivery of training that meets ALPA's Quality standards.
* Support First Nations mentors in engaging with students and promoting attendance.
* Maintain effective communication and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
* Participate in site meetings, training, and community forums as required.
* Conduct administrative tasks, including student enrolments and attendance, language, literacy, and numeracy testing.
About You
* Prior experience working as a trainer in a Higher Education setting delivering accredited training programs.
* Able to adapt your approach to cater for both in-person and remote learners.
* Familiarity with electronic student management systems.
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with people from various educational backgrounds and cultural contexts.
* Current driver's license.
