About the Position:

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Traffic Engineer or Senior Transport Planner to step into an Associate Director role and lead the development of a new Transport Advisory team in Queensland, leveraging your existing network of clients and contacts. You'll be supported by our established and high‐performing team in Perth, WA, as you take this next step in your career and shape your own future.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work across projects in both Queensland and Western Australia
* Lead developing, implementing and reviewing of new transport planning business streams
* Provide leadership and direction to staff and ensure the objectives, actions and focus of the Business unit is clearly communicated to staff
* Work with the Director to determine strategy and plan for short, medium and long‐term goals
* Identify and address problems and opportunities for the Business
* Promote an operating centre culture that encourages top performance and high morale
* When required, direct, manage or run major bids/opportunities

About You:

* Strong understanding of Traffic Engineering /Transport Planning and project management
* Knowledge of Quality & Safety and the importance of risk management
* Strong interpersonal, influencing, mentoring and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated skills in managing and leading teams, projects and people
* Ability to develop commercially viable short and long‐range business goals
* Ability to lead teams and manage team outputs
* Ability to foster a culture which supports organisational policies and procedures
