About the role
We are seeking an Concrete Labourer to join our team at Capricorn Coast Concreting. This is a full-time position based in Yeppoon, Queensland. As a Concrete Labourer, you will be an integral part of our operations, supporting our skilled tradesmen in the delivery of high-quality concrete services to our clients.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting with preparing slabs
2. Transporting, pouring, and finishing concrete to specified standards
3. Operating small equipment and tools used in concrete work
4. Cleaning and maintaining work areas, equipment, and tools
5. Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
6. Collaborating with the team to deliver projects on time and to the client's satisfaction
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a Concrete Labourer or in a similar construction role is helpful but not essential, willing to work teach the right person
2. Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques
3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
4. Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
6. Effective communication and teamwork skills
7. A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
8. Full Australian working rights required
