We are looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our brand new General Pants store in Townsville – opening in October

Responsibilities
As the Assistant Store Manager, you are responsible for working alongside the Store Manager to drive sales and achieve KPI results, build and train your team to deliver an excellent, fun customer-driven culture within the store.
Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure day-to-day operations are running smoothly and efficiently
Ability to review store sales reports and create actions plans with your Store Manager and team
Hold yourself and each individual accountable for their own results through constant feedback
Work closely with the Store Manager to create a store roster according to daily traffic, peak periods and optimise the team resources
Supports efficient inventory management including stocktakes & cycle counts
Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards within store and assist with in-store activations
Work closely with the Store Manager to mentor and coach the store team to allow them to grow, celebrating their strengths and building awareness and steps to address their gaps; through honesty, generosity, and true empowerment to give things a go themselves
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of supervisory / management experience in a retail environment.
You will have a genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brands
The ability to confidently lead, motivate and engage a team environment
Proven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individuals
A proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets
Sound knowledge and proven success in retail ops including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, shrinkage etc
Must have full Australian working rights
