**About you**
- Ability to manage challenging situations with members of the public, especially during the issuance of Penalty Notices.
- Awareness of the diverse views and interests of stakeholders, navigating contentious issues with diplomacy and tact.
- Experience in regulatory and compliance activities, including interpreting legislation.
- Capability to balance work volume and quality effectively despite limited resources.
- Proficient in resolving conflicts, managing difficult interactions, and de-escalating situations using well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across different environments and contexts.
- Strong organizational skills honed in high-volume, demanding professional environments.
- Proven capacity to work independently with mínimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Skilled in engaging, collaborating, and negotiating with customers and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships to deliver results with a customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel throughout NSW, including overnight stays in regional or remote areas, with a current NSW driver's license.
