They manufacture high-performance polymer seals designed for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment. They are seeking a CNC Machinist / Programmer / Operator to work in their technical production team at their Branch in Western Sydney. A key focus of the role is working well individually and in a team environment, manufacturing customized sealing solutions on CNC 2-Axis Lathe machines. The position is permanent full-time, and the successful candidate must be flexible with working hours, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays if required. Job tasks and responsibilities Full CNC Machine Turning - operating and programming (SIEMENS controls preferred) Select proper tools, edit programs Produce parts from drawings to specific tolerances Read and understand engineering/manufacturing drawings and blueprints Work on manual lathe, milling machine, grinding machines, and bandsaw Follow all production processes safely and efficiently Inspect and verify parts using precision gauges such as Circumference Tape, Electronic Digital calipers, and other measuring equipment Assist with packing and dispatch as required Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace Prioritize health and safety in the workplace Skills and experience We seek a highly driven individual who thrives in a small, close-knit team within a CNC Engineering Polymer (Plastics, Rubber, Teflon) Seal environment. Ideally, candidates will have: Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a machine shop or similar setting Experience in manufacturing Desire to learn CNC machining Australian Citizens or permanent residents are preferred; sponsorship may be considered for onshore candidates.
