A data science professional role with global impact in Brisbane. We are seeking a Specialist Data Science to join a high-performing, collaborative team. You will apply cutting-edge analytics and operational expertise to identify and deliver performance improvement projects, working alongside simulation and data analytics professionals to turn data into actionable insights that drive real-world results.
What You Will Do
* Identify business and performance improvement opportunities across the end-to-end value chain.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure relevant business problems are clearly defined and addressed.
* Investigate complex problems using a structured approach, writing code and conducting analysis with various technologies.
* Produce actionable insights from data to enable measurable performance improvements.
* Confidently present ideas, results, and recommendations to stakeholders across all organisational levels.
What You Need to Apply for This Role
* A relevant tertiary qualification and demonstrated experience in using data to solve complex problems.
* Strong programming skills in Python to build diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive models.
* Practical experience in applying machine learning and statistical modelling techniques.
* Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
* Proven communication and presentation skills with a structured approach to achieving project goals.
