Medical Secretary / Receptionist Part Time
EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL IN PRIVATE MEDICAL ROOMS
We have a role for an experienced medical secretary/receptionist to work in a specialist practice.
The speciality is Cardiology.
You will be sharing reception duties with another staff member for all general administration.
Responsibilities
Front desk reception with meet & greet
Handling all phone calls and enquiries in a timely and friendly manner
Knowledge of Gentu an advantage
Diary management
Billing and receipting of patient accounts
Booking of medical procedures at hospitals and liaising with staff to ensure the smooth running of the admissions
Working closely with visiting doctors to the practice and managing their clinics
Preparing of daily clinics and ensure all test results, referrals and patient information is up to date
Scanning and updating all results which are sent electronically or via mail to the clinic
Maintain the tidiness of the office and consulting rooms
Banking
Excellent presentation
Role fit
This role will suit someone who wants to work out of the city and maybe close to home, and who only wants 3 days per week.
This is specialist practice so therefore knowledge of working within a busy medical setting is essential.
Being a team player is essential.
Salary
Salary negotiable depending upon previous experience.
