Accountancy and Finance Support Role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to cover a maternity leave contract for our finance officer position.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small, friendly team within the construction industry. Our company prides itself on its family-run values and repeat business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for using the Jobpac system to assist with the accounts function, primarily focusing on accounts payable with some accounts receivable duties.
This initial 8-month contract may be extended or lead to a permanent role, depending on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing accounts payable and receivable tasks efficiently
* Handling intercompany transactions and invoices
* Cash flow monitoring and reconciliation of bank and credit card statements
* Providing support with other financial tasks as required by management
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of the Jobpac system, with minimal training needed
* Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial
* Able to complete general accounting tasks and other duties outlined
* Extensive experience in finance or accounts roles, preferably with similar software expertise
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
