We're on the lookout for a Road Train Driver to join our team out at Brunette Downs Station, where you'll be responsible for the safe transportation of livestock.Brunette Downs isn't just another property; it's at the heart of AACo and a huge part of our history! Situated 350km northeast of the nearest town, Tennant Creek.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating a Kenworth T659 2012 Model.
* Transportation of cattle as directed both on and off the station
* Handle cattle in line with AACo animal welfare standards.
* Be responsible for loading cattle at appropriate numbers.
* Adhere to current fatigue management guidelines.
* Complete all paperwork as required e.g. Livestock cartage book etc.
* Conduct general property observations while driving
* Carry out road train maintenance - Carry out a pre-start check daily or before each trip taken.
* Maintain road train serviceability and ensure the vehicle is of roadworthy condition.
* Monitor fuel and oil usage and record fuel in fuel log sheets
* Follow the general guidelines listed below when operating a road train
Desired Skills and Experience

Required Skills & Experience:

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull from 10–20 kilos and occasionally more.
* Current MC driver's license
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
* Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
