About the Role
The Global Human Resources Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving global HR initiatives during business transformation. This role provides strategic partnering to senior leadership, manages a team of global HR Business Partners, and owns tactical HR projects.
Primarily focused on tactical execution of HR projects, with an opportunity to develop and implement strategic global people initiatives based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute HR strategies to improve the full employee lifecycle, focusing on onboarding and talent development.
* Ensure data accuracy, up-to-date information, successful audits, and accurate reporting through effective HRIS system management.
* Collaborate with finance and legal for alignment on headcount planning, remuneration reviews, equity programs, and compliance.
* Manage vendor and benefit renewals, ensuring seamless operations.
* Stay up-to-date with current global employment laws in key regions.
* Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment practices, advising leadership on best practice and areas of risk.
* Complete annual policy review process, ensuring compliant policies are live and available to employees.
* Prepare information for board reporting and audits.
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Performance Management Process.
* Work with Senior Leadership to develop and roll out company OKRs and KPIs.
* Mentor Managers on managing employees towards high performance and address performance issues.
* Educate leadership on global employment frameworks, workplace risks, and global compliance.
* Escalate and resolve employee issues consistently.
* Manage internal employee communications cadence.
* Develop standard interview processes for best fit and positive candidate experience.
* Cultivate a network of candidates for open requirements throughout the year.
* Complete succession planning exercises to understand talent risks and create plans to develop internal talent.
Requirements
* 7+ years of HR business partnering experience with 2+ years of managing a global HR team.
* Strong business partnering and advising experience working closely with senior and executive leadership in a global role.
* Expert knowledge of HR organizational policies and practices, design, trends, best practice, and future direction.
* Experience in small to mid-sized businesses undergoing growth and/or transformation preferred.
* Management, leadership, team building, consulting, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly.
