About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Moranbah, QLD. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a range of fixed and mobile plant across our quarry operations. This is a full-time, site-based role working 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on:
- Fixed and Mobile Plant – crushers, screens, conveyors, gensets, loaders, excavators, dump trucks
- Light vehicles and ancillary equipment
- Heavy road transport – servicing and basic mechanical repairs as required
- Perform scheduled servicing, inspections, and breakdown repairs
- Support general labouring and site maintenance as needed
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Solid mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and a strong team player
- Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with hydraulic systems and crushing equipment highly regarded
