About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect – Networks to join our IT team and lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of our server, cloud, and application environments across the Sanitarium group.
You will be responsible for the architecture, planning and support of network environments, ensuring high quality outcomes while aligning solutions with business needs and IT strategic direction.
You will be working closely with the Lead Solution Architect and the Solution Architect of Infrastructure & Cloud in developing complete solutions that meet Sanitarium requirements and Internal standards.
This pivotal role will suit someone passionate about modern networking technologies, and delivering secure, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
* Lead network solution architecture activities including technical design, peer reviews, and solution optimisation.
* Provide specialist guidance across LAN/WAN, SD‐WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and voice technologies.
* Drive project design and implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
* Manage complex network and voice issues, delivering effective problem resolution and root cause analysis.
* Maintain accurate asset records and ensure network security best practice.
* Stay current with emerging technologies, certifications, and industry advancements.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in network architecture/engineering.
* Strong expertise across Cisco, Palo Alto, network security, Wi-FI, VPN, SDWAN and network management systems.
* Experience with voice technologies and load balancing.
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience.
* Cisco or Palo Alto certifications are highly regarded.
* Exceptional communication, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A strong customer service focus and commitment to quality.
* Experience with manufacturing and OT Technologies is desireable but not required
