Welder/Boilermaker
- Location: Mount Waverley
- Mon- Fri (7am start, 8 hour days)
- Temp Perm opportunity for the right candidate
- $42.50 p/h + penalties
WorkPac are seeking an experienced welder for a manufacturer of kilns.
About Our Client
Our client design and manufacture a wide range of customised heat processing and combustion systems.
What You Will Be Doing
- Cutting steel
- Guillotining sheet metal
- Folding of steel in a brake press
- Drilling and tapping holes
- Arc welding
- Mig welding
- Tig welding
- Working with Mild steel, stainless steel and high temperature steels
- Fabricating sheet metal and structural components
- Working with various fabrication machines
- Oxy and plasma cutting
- General factory tasks as required
What You Will Need
- Proven experience as a Welder.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a team player mentality.
- Forklift licence and EWP ticket are highly desirable
