About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Worker to join a team based in Kewdale. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position on a morning shift. The role involves operating a basic welding machine and assisting with general production tasks, with the opportunity for ongoing employment.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for operating a basic welding machine, placing poles into the machine where automated tack welding will occur, and removing completed items before preparing the next cycle. You will also be required to complete occasional hand welding tasks as needed. The role involves maintaining workflow efficiency, following safety procedures, and ensuring a clean and organised work area.
What You Will Need
* Australian Drivers Licence
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Proven reliability and low absenteeism in previous roles
* Good understanding of written and spoken English
* Previous machine operating experience
* Demonstrated problem‐solving skills
* Own reliable transport
* Positive, can‐do attitude with a focus on achieving team and company goals
* Ability to perform repetitive and manual tasks
