OUR TEAM
Our Explosive Ordnance Systems team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for growth.
YOUR ROLE
* Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and regulations
* Monitor and support risk management processes
* Assist in the compliance activities relating to Commonwealth Authority (Comcare) Major Hazardous Facilities (MHF) Regulations for the Region.
* Implement, maintain and review Safety Management Systems
* Ensure regional compliance with the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Manual (DSM) requirements
* Preparing documentation for security clearance applications of employees
* Investigating, making recommendations and preparing reports of security breaches and potential incidents
* Liaising with the Defence Security Authority and other related departments
YOUR EXPERIENCE
* Cert IV in WHS (or ability to obtain)
* Excellent judgement and initiative to resolve a wide range of technical issues
* Experience in managing workplace HSE requirements
* Sound knowledge, experience and understanding of HSE Legislation
* Familiar with Microsoft Suite and quick to learn new systems
