As a Supervised Contact Worker, you will:

* Supervise and support contact visits and facilitated changeovers between children, parents and significant family members, ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing and best interests are always prioritised.
* Observe, document and maintain clear, accurate and objective written records, including case notes and court reports, in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
* Engage respectfully with families to provide service orientation, support goal setting, and encourage safe and appropriate self‑management of contact arrangements where feasible.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, adhering to program policies, child‑safe standards and continuous quality improvement practices to deliver high‑quality services.
Position Details
* Part time, Ongoing Position
* 0.5 FTE working 19 hours per week
* This position follows a set roster:
o Thursday: 10:00am till 3:00pm
o Friday: 12:00pm till 6:30pm
o Saturday: 9:00am till 5:30pm
* $88,307 p/a (pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging
What We’re Looking For

We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:

* A relevant qualification or currently studying social work, psychology or other related discipline relevant to the human services sector.
* Understanding and knowledge of family and separation issues, child development, family violence, trauma informed and strength based practice.
* Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including experience in undertaking observation of parent/child behaviour.
* Comprehensive written skills including the ability to produce objective, factual based case notes and reports for court proceedings and funding body reviews.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and ensures compliance in work practices.
