Job Description:
A Research Fellow is required to join our team in a Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRC-P) on sustainable High Purity Alumina production. This project focuses on the development of innovative membrane technology for the purification of alumina from mineral resources.
Responsibilities:
* Design and optimize membranes for separation and purification systems
* Contribute to the scale-up of novel membrane systems and chemical processes
* Perform advanced materials characterization, including membranes and alumina products
* Conduct experimental and theoretical work on membrane performance and filtration efficiency
This is an exciting opportunity for a Research Fellow with a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering or materials science to contribute to the project's research goals. The successful candidate will have experience in membrane technology, mineral processing, materials characterisation, or chemical separation technologies.
Key Requirements:
* A Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering or materials science
* Evidence of at least 5 publications in reputable journals within the last 5 years
* Active involvement in relevant projects with industry professionals
* Effective communication and collaboration skills
Benefits and Remuneration:
