You’ll be part of a small, agile team driving high-impact technology projects that support essential services across the region. Your new role As an ICT Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, including two multi-million-dollar initiatives and several smaller-scale technology upgrades. You’ll be embedded within the Cybersecurity team, working closely with Infrastructure and Delivery teams to ensure seamless execution. Your responsibilities will include: Leading end-to-end delivery of ICT projects, including network redesigns, digital identity initiatives, and wireless deployments. Picking up projects mid-execution and driving them to successful completion. Developing and maintaining high-quality project documentation (business cases, updates, governance reports). Engaging with operational and engineering stakeholders to bring them on the journey through significant change. Facilitating impactful meetings and ensuring alignment across teams. Driving change management efforts in a technically complex and operationally heavy environment. This is a 12-month contract role based in Darwin, with a start date of 20th October. Some travel to regional sites (e.g., Alice Springs) may be required early in the engagement. What you'll need to succeed To thrive in this role, you’ll bring: Proven experience in ICT project delivery, ideally across multiple concurrent projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, especially in operational environments. High-level documentation skills and familiarity with governance frameworks (PMBOK, PRINCE2). A proactive, sleeves-rolled-up attitude with the ability to drive progress independently. Experience in change management and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. Bonus points for experience in energy/utilities or engineering environments, and familiarity with operational technology. Candidates must be based in Darwin or willing to relocate with a short lead time. Interstate applicants can commence remotely but must relocate within the first month. Drug and alcohol testing and NDA signing will be required due to the nature of the work.
